The primary color initiates the color change and the inner color adds extraordinary depth and intensity to your eyes. The color pigments were integrated into the silicone hydrogel material of the contact lenses. The innovative material has a water content of 80 percent on the surface, whereas the water content is significantly lower in the interior in contact with the eye. This creates excellent wearing comfort and the contact lenses are also suitable for very dry eyes.

Due to the material and the water content, the oxygen permeability of AirOptix Colors contact lenses is up to six times higher than that of other color lenses. This benefits the health of your eyes, because the cornea needs to be supplied with oxygen from the outside.
